Biography
Donna Westbrooks‑Martin is a transformational coach and seasoned executive dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations through personal growth, clarity, and human‑centered change. With more than three decades of leadership experience in education, disability services, and organizational development, Donna brings a rare blend of strategic insight, deep empathy, and practical expertise to every coaching relationship.
As the Founder of JD Coaching & Consulting, Donna partners with clients navigating life transitions, professional crossroads, and identity development—especially individuals who identify as Neurodivergent or who support Neurodivergent loved ones. Her coaching is grounded in strengths‑based practice, human‑centered design, and a belief that every person deserves spaces where they can thrive authentically.
Donna brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in education and disability services, including her ongoing role as Chief Executive Officer of ACLD, Inc. & the ACLD Tillotson School. Her earlier career with Pittsburgh Public Schools—spanning educator, supervisor, and Executive Director roles—reflects her long-standing dedication to inclusive systems and equitable opportunities. A respected contributor to the neurodiversity field, Donna is a contributor to the Schools Unified in Neurodiversity (SUN) initiative, presented at sessions at SXSW EDU (2024) as well as co-author of article on the SUN Initiative in the International Society for Autism Research (2025).
She holds a Professional Coaching Certification from Duquesne University and advanced credentials in educational leadership and special education. Known for her warmth, strategic insight, and ability to help clients uncover their strengths, Donna creates coaching experiences that inspire growth and meaningful change.
